Why be modest? There really isn't a golf tournament quite like it... The
AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Tournament
is one of a kind, and has been ever since Bing Crosby first instituted his great "clambake."
Think of it: February 2-8 will see 180 top pros paired up with 180 celebrity amateurs, playing four rounds of highly competitive golf, across three of America's finest courses - Pebble Beach, Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.
And what golfers! While the golf world's big star, Tiger Woods, won't be playing in 2004, the defending champion, Davis Love III will be there, along with Matt Gogel, Phil Mickelson, and Todd Fischer, to name a few. The celebs will be out in force, too, including James Woods, Lynn Swann, Ray Romano, Kevin Costner, Kenny G and Oscar De La Hoya.
Tickets and packages range in price from $40 for a day ticket up to $1600+ for Champions Club Members. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the website at
www.attppgolf.com.

A loaf of bread is just not as romantic without a complementary jug of wine... So what better way to spend Valentine's Day Weekend than sipping some of Monterey County's finest wines?
From February 13-15, you can enjoy wine-tasting with a romantic and fun-filled spin during the
Wine Passport Weekend
. While you drive through Monterey's mild winter weather and drowsing vineyards, you'll be collecting 'passport' stamps that enter you in a prize drawing worth $1500.
The event costs $35 for the three-day passport (more after February 1, less for designated drivers); additional events include four taste-tempting winemakers dinners, Valentine's Day dinners at the Monterey Bay Aquarium or A Taste of Monterey on Cannery Row, and more. Just call 831-375-9400 or visit the
website for details.
